<title>Sunday 08 February 2026 a number of members attended the Mustang Car Clubs annual show and shine event held at Vikings Park Erindale Centre. We had a marquee set up and with the help of the Police Volunteers sold egg and bacon roll as well as sausages. The weather was inclement to say the least but a group of spectators attended to view the 200 odd Mustang motor vehicles on display. The crowd was down given the rain but enthusiasts braved the weather. Check Gary Browns Facebook page for more pictures.</title>

				<title>Chief Commissioner Mike Bush CNZM
Victoria Police
Dear Chief Commissioner,
On behalf of the Australian Federal Police Veterans’ Association, I extend our deepest condolences following the tragic murder of two Victoria Police members and the serious wounding of another officer at Porepunkah on 26 August 2025. We also extend those condolences to the broader police family in Victoria and across Australia.
All of us who have served in policing understand that the role carries inherent risks. Yet to be murdered in cold blood while upholding the law and serving the community in a country as peaceful as ours is a confronting and devastating reality of modern policing. Incidents such as this, and similar tragedies in Tasmania and regional Queensland, highlight the increasingly dangerous environment in which our police serve to maintain public safety and uphold the criminal law.
The AFPVA stands in solidarity with Victoria Police and shares the grief of the wider policing community. Our thoughts are firmly with the families, colleagues, and friends of the fallen and wounded officers. We hope they can find strength and support to navigate this tragedy and that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Martin Hess
President
Australian Federal Police Veterans’ Association</title>

<title>I was just out shopping for a new suit. I went to DJs and MYER. A young man’s game. Then I walked into Peter Jackson’s and what a world of difference!!! For the better! Not only the range but the service!!! The salesman was so attentive and helpful…
So I picked out two and he gives me the price for the two suits with a store discount currently underway of 25%. Then he notices that I’m wearing a former AFP Association member shirt. He says hang on you get 50% storewide discount so now I’m buying two Suits for the price of one. I couldn’t believe it!!! Great work team.</title>
